Tiger Wood’s PGA Tour 2008 was just recently released, standing by their promise to have the game out by the year’s end. The sequel to the 2007 version of the game, also available for the wii, failed to impress the reviewers at dailygame.net.
They complained about several things, such as the lack of a good clean advanced menu, no online game play mode, the taunt feature (allows you to use voice distractions during multiplayer mode), graphics, and sound. Either way, this game should still be a lot of fun to the avid golfer turned gamer, as they’ll actually get to hit the ball instead of moving a joystick around.

It seems that the Wii has finally truly and fully been hacked. As seen with other game systems, this mod chip allows users to download pirated games from ‘distributors’ in the area for a very low price, usually around $5 to $10. Of course, this is not legal, so the legal excuse for having a modchip is that you want to backup your games.Like seriously, who backups their games? Its a stupid excuse, but apparently courts around the world have accepted it. The downside with the Wii mod chip, however, is that it requires a lot of handyman work, like soldering the chip and taking apart your wii. We, of course, don’t recommend it, but some curious gamers will no doubt try it.

So, you’re a musician, but at the same time, a Wii gamer, and you want to enjoy both at the same time? Well, we just may have the solution, Namco Bandai’s Nodame Cantabile: Dream Orchestra. Originally released for the DS, its now coming to the Wii. You can now sharpen your music skills by playing the role of a conductor.
There are games coming out for the Wii that will let you conduct music using your wii mote. So you will be able to play entire pieces of music on the Wii, while practicing for that big concert. It’ll also play the music as you conduct, so you’ll notice when you have done a wrong motion, and you can work to fix it.

Pool Party, the new game released for billiard fanatics, was reviewed by Village Voice, and let me tell you one thing. The whole 1 page, summarized, would be “It Sucks”. I’m sure they exaggerated, and I’m definitely not encouraging you to not purchase the game, as I’m sure a lot of people will find it an awesome game to play, but I’ll save you the 10 minutes of reading.
The reviewers went on and on, complaining about everything from the game play to characters to the music. Some examples of stuff they said:

A senior regional director for Microsoft was interviewed by MCV, and what he had to say outraged Wii Fans around the world. The man discussed about the differences between the Xbox 360 and the Wii, and obviously, he thought the Wii was far inferior.
Here is a transcript from the interview. Apparently this guy thinks the Wii can only go so far, and that the Xbox 360 is the true definition of an awesome game system. So therefore, he ends up calling the Wii ‘limited’, and earning himself millions of haters.

Kirby’s Avalanche, the classic game released for the Super Nintendo 12 years old (1995), is now available for download on the Nintendo Wii. The plot of the game starts with the fact that Kirby’s Star Rod has been stolen by King Dedede. Now Kirby must travel through many lands, battle many enemies, and recover his Star Rod from King Dedede.
The game was also released as a remake for the Game Boy advance in 2002, and has been unheard of since. Its now available for download, and will once again require a classic controller (they should seriously provide those for free when you buy it). The game will also cost 800 Wii Points.

Game Rush recently reported a story of a 18 year man from Oklahoma, who stole a Nintendo Wii from a woman’s home. If you stop there, it seems normal, but this gets even funnier. The man later fell regret, and returned the Wii to the woman, with an apology and some Marijuana!
The woman refused to accept the marijuana, only to find out that her Wii was stolen AGAIN the next day. I mean, come on woman, don’t you learn after the first time? This is probably the most ridiculous story I have ever heard. I don’t know who is stupider, the woman or the thief.
This is a preview of

Talk about changing your playing field! The Nintendo Wii and Bungie’s Halo 3 (for the Xbox 360) are now taking their game up a notch. They’re bringing two to the racetrack, and yes, I do mean a real live racetrack. The Dover Speedway will be the racetrack that gets to host this ultimate honour. I mean, we just have to wait a little more for the PS3 car to show up, and then we got another thing to watch!

Legend of Hero Tonma, a TurboGrafx game, was announced as the latest release in the Nintendo Wii’s line of
games. The game is now available for download on the Wii for only 800 Wii points, which is a steal for the 16 year old (1991!) game. The game is extremely old, but don’t be fooled! It was a great game then, and still promises to be a great game now.
In the game you assume the role of Tonma, who must save the princess from, get this, another dimension! This is as crazy as games back then went, so you don’t want to miss it. Check out the video below of this game in action:
